After 10 years of practicing dermatology as a partner at Lake Washington Dermatology, Dr. Wang founded Advanced Dermatology Northwest. Dr. Wang received his M.D. from University of California San Francisco, did his internship in medicine at Stanford University Medical Center, and completed his residency and fellowship in dermatology at University of Washington Medical Center.
Dr. Wang has a broad interest in general dermatology, and surgical dermatology. He also offers cosmetic procedures including Botox, Restylane, Laser treatment, and Sclerotherapy. He is an associate clinical professor in dermatology and teaches medical students and residents at the University of Washington Dermatology Clinic weekly for over 10 years.
Dr. Wang also has extensive research background. He holds a PH.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry from Oregon Health Sciences University, and did a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Harold Varmus, the former director of the National Institute of Health. His previous research includes studies on HIV, Kaposi's sarcoma, and other viral pathogens.
In his spare time, Dr. Wang enjoys spending time with his wife and his two daughters. British Columbia and Hawaii are their favorite vacation destinations.LICENSURE:
